Vintage Trailer of the Week 13

Volonte, Kinski, music by Morricone and Bacalov (though unfortunately theres none of it in the trailer), allusions to the Vietnam War and American foreign policy, and direction by gifted journeyman Damiano Damiani (greatest name for a director ever) add up to what may just be the greatest Zapata Western ever made. Ok, the second greatest after Leone's "A FIstful of Dynamite":

Martine Beswick. She was one of the gypsy catfighters in From Russia with Love.

She was also in Thunderball. I think Vargas tortures her to death.

My point being...ring-a-ding-ding.

Spaghettis always had really beautiful leading ladies of the Claudia Cardinale type. Dark, curvy, sultry, much more carnal-seeming than most American actresses of the era. If Monica Bellucci had been around then, she would've been in Spaghettis.
